The vision of the Association of International Business Research and Practice (AIBRP) is to provide a forum to stakeholders from Society, Business, Government, and Academia to share ideas, interests, research themes, and transformational insights that will shape the future of International Business education and practice.

The mission of AIBRP is to contribute to the wider society by supporting research and scholarship in international business, helping to build capacity in both international business education and practice while providing opportunities for development, policy engagement, and transformational educational experience to all its members.

AIBRP sponsored conferences and meetings are designed to provide participants with the opportunity to present their work in a collegial setting, obtain constructive feedback, advance research toward submission to professional journals as well as interact with world-class scholars, panelists, and keynoter speakers.

The goal of AIBRP is to support research and scholarship in international business, helping to build capacity in both international business education and practice while providing opportunities for development, policy engagement, and transformational educational experience to all its members.

The key short and long-term objectives of AIBRP are: 
Short-term: 

• Organize and sponsor the annual AIBRP Conference in conjunction with the MBAA International Conference held in Chicago, USA 
• Publish a PRJ journal 
• Increase our membership among academics and business practitioners 
• Provide scholarships to students by engaging in fundraising programs and activities 
• Offer internship opportunities to students 
• Encourage and facilitate students to attend the annual conference(s) 

• Create regional AIBRP Chapters in the USA and selected countries abroad 
• Hold another annual conference outside the USA, e.g., UK 

• Networking 
• Research collaboration 
• Faculty exchanges  
• Conferences that are collegial, collaborative, and enjoyable 
• Student field trips
